About Turrialba Volcano above the Clouds

Turrialba is the second-highest volcano in Costa Rica, at 3,340 metres, and stands at the eastern end of the Central Volcanic Range. After more than a century of quiet it woke up again in 2010, and in the following years its ash clouds sometimes reached San José and closed the airport. Its slopes are covered with dairy farms and cloud forest, and the town of Turrialba below is known for its cheese and for white-water rafting on nearby rivers. The aerial photo shows the crater above a sea of clouds.

Puzzle tip: start with the dark crater and its rim, then separate the white clouds from the blue sky.
