Palau Puzzles

Palau is a small island nation in the western Pacific, about 800 kilometres east of the Philippines, with more than 300 islands and fewer than 20,000 people. Our Palau puzzles explore the Rock Islands and the lagoon around Koror.

About Palau

Spain, Germany and Japan ruled the islands in turn, and after the Second World War they were run by the United States as a UN trust territory. Palau became independent in 1994. It is a world leader in protecting the sea: in 2009 it created the first shark sanctuary, and visitors sign the Palau Pledge, stamped into their passports.

You can put together a natural limestone arch, the mushroom-shaped Rock Islands from the water and from the air, a palm beach near Koror, the clear lagoon seen from a boat and the golden jellyfish of Jellyfish Lake.
