Solomon Islands Puzzles

The Solomon Islands are a country of nearly a thousand islands in the south-western Pacific, east of Papua New Guinea. Our Solomon Islands puzzles show the lagoons and beaches of the Western Province and the capital, Honiara.

About Solomon Islands

The large islands are mountainous and covered in rainforest, while the smaller ones are low coral islets surrounded by reefs. The Spanish navigator Álvaro de Mendaña reached them in 1568 and named them after the legendary mines of King Solomon. During the Second World War, Guadalcanal and the islands around it were the scene of long battles, and many wrecks still lie on the seabed. Dozens of languages are spoken here, and woodcarving is an old and living tradition.

You can put together the islands of Marovo Lagoon, a beach on Gizo, the shoreline of Nggatokae and Mendana Avenue in Honiara.
