Zambia is a landlocked country in southern Africa, crossed by the great Zambezi River. Our Zambia puzzle shows the clouds of spray rising from Victoria Falls, which it shares with neighbouring Zimbabwe.
Victoria Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in the world, about 1.7 kilometres wide. Its local name, Mosi-oa-Tunya, means the smoke that thunders, because the spray thrown up by the falling water can be seen from many kilometres away. In the wet season the mist is so thick that visitors on the path opposite are soaked in seconds, and rainbows often shine through it.
