About Bay of Padar Island, Komodo National Park

Komodo National Park, in eastern Indonesia between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores, was set up in 1980 to protect the Komodo dragon, and it was named one of the New7Wonders of Nature in 2011. Padar is the third largest island of the park. A trail of stone steps leads from the beach to a ridge with one of the most famous views in Indonesia: three long bays curving between steep hills. The hills are green in the rainy season and turn golden brown in the dry months. In this photo boats are anchored in a turquoise bay below green slopes.

Puzzle tip: the white beach and the small boats are good starting points; the green hills have many shades to sort.
